Photo Grid - App Review

What is Photo Grid? 

Photo Grid is an app that allows you to combine various images into a grid layout. Somewhat like a photo collage.

What can it be used for?

I have found a few different uses for Photo Grid, from just having fun to killing time. But nothing has been more useful than being able to share before and after images as well as images that show a progression of events.

Personal experience

I have used the app a handful of times and each time has been for a specific purpose. I tend to use it most often to show either before and after images or a collection of pics from a single event. If anything I can see where this app helps me better get my point across.

Score

Layout & User Interface - 4.5/5

The user interface is really kind and is easy on the eyes. It doesn't seem to be too overpowering and the layout is very simple to understand. The icons are easy to understand as well as locate. After opening the app it is easy to see what options you have and the directions in which you can go. Considering the layout is so simple and points directly to what it should, I would have to give the layout and UI a 4.5.

Options - 5/5

As with any image app Photo Grid seems to have a plethora of options. Some that are really awesome and some that just seem useless. Luckily, for Photo Grid and you, the awesome outweighs the useless.

Some of the options that I have enjoyed are the border color change option, the different layouts, and the ability to add text. Keep in mind this isn't really a image editing app, but an image combining app. Taking into consideration that this app was never intended to be an image editing app and that all of the options seem appropriate I would have to say as far as options go, Photo Grid gets a 5.

Crashing, Bugs and Problems - 4.5/5

As of writing this I haven't had one problem with this app. It runs smooth and does so quite fast. Sometimes it does depend on the phone so I would have to say based off of my experience and the ratings within the Google Play market, I will gladly award Photo Grid a 4.5 in this category as well.

Intended Use - 5/5

Photo Grid was designed to do exactly what it does best, combine photos into a grid format. After you use it for just a few minutes it is easy to see why it scores so high, both on Bittsy and within the Google Play store. I see no reason that Photo Grid shouldn't receive a 5 out of 5. If the app does what it's supposed to and does it well it must be holding to its intended use.

If you are looking for an app that combines images into a grid so that you can share it with all your friends via various social sites. Then you can't go wrong with Photo Grid.
